The  City of Gray provides water and sewer services to its residents as well as certain areas of Jones County.

 

Garbage collection is provided to city residents contractually between the City of Gray and Advanced Disposal Systems of Macon.  Pickup is Thursdays.  A White Goods pickup is scheduled once a quarter.  Yard debris pickup is scheduled for the third Saturday of each month. Effective July 11, 2003, you will no longer be able to obtain or renew your driver’s license in Gray.  For Driver’s License Information (24-Hours automated) call 404-657-9300.  If you choose, you can renew your license by mail and on the internet.  Visit the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety’s website at www.dmvs.ga.gov for more information.

The City of Gray Police Department is located at 154 West Clinton Street.  Office hours are 8:30 am through 4:30 pm.  Police Chief Adam Lowe and his staff are available to serve the community 24 hours a day.  478-986-5554
